The Partners In Recovery is a program available to people in the Sutherland and St George local government areas who:

  • Experience ongoing serious mental illness
  • Find it difficult to access services and supports they want and need
  • Want to improve their wellbeing

Partners In Recovery staff called Support Facilitators, will work with you to identify what is important to you right now and in the future. They will then link you to the services and supports in the community that you want and need. Support Facilitators also build partnerships in the local area to improve services and help you access what you want and need for your recovery journey.

Once a referral is received, our PIR coordinators will respond within 48 hours. We will then assess eligibility and, if needed, a Support Facilitator will be allocated to the referral. Even if Partners In Recovery is not a suitable program for some, our team will find out who else can help. This is called our ‘No Wrong Door’ Policy.
